Please note this is not the actual club you are applying to. This is a Facebook entry site and an introduction. The CKC is a private club; this portal is public. It has been designed so that you, who are looking for a club in our area, may learn a bit about our club and so that I may introduce the CKC for your consideration.

Let me introduce myself first. My name is Suzanne Whitaker. I am married, a senior citizen, and the founder and manager of the Coffee Klatch Club, the CKC. My husband and I moved to Buckeye, Arizona, in 2019, and I started this club in 2019 to find a few friends. Now, I have many friends. Good friends, too. This club is more than I dreamt it would be, and I love it. I love what it has done for others, like me, looking for friends. I have a degree in business, so management is just up my alley. I spent my life raising a family and working too hard. Sound familiar? Nothing mysterious is happening here, no self-promotion: We are not trying to sell anything here. I am just offering a safe and fun club where people give more than they take. If you’re interested, read on.

The Process. This is just the first step of a selective process. After your email of interest to me at TheCoffeeKlatchClub@gmail.com, I will invite you and possibly others like you to a private coffee at a local establishment here in Buckeye. Other admins and some of our key members will be invited as well. You can ask questions and learn more about us in person. If you are still unsure after our coffee, we will be happy to host you at one of our events. We can decide to join afterward; there is no rush. Don’t feel bad if you opt not to seek membership; we want you to be satisfied with your choice. We are selective and do not allow ‘the world to join’. What are we looking for, you may well ask? We want people who will commit to the club. People who will join in and pitch in. We are not just another ‘Chatty Cathy’ Facebook club. We post, but our focus is on personal and in-person interaction.

The Rules. As you can see from our rules below, we revoke memberships of those who do not show up to events without properly removing themselves and also from nonactivity. We follow and enforce these rules. We tolerate no hatred, bigotry, infighting, gossip, or cruelty.

Our Membership. We are a vivacious and outgoing club in Buckeye, Arizona. We serve all geographic areas, so no matter where in the area you live, you are most welcome. We do not care about your personal social, political, or religious standing or your bank account; we are not a focus for your business growth. We are simply people enjoying the 4th quarter of their lives. It is indeed just that simple. We do not charge dues; we charge the actual cost of events/classes. However, you are required to order a $15 name badge worn to all events (we have no strangers in our club) upon your approval into the club. Our members are delightful and caring people. We think before we speak, and we make warm and lasting friendships. We do not hurt or prey upon each other. We support and encourage each other and herald each other's accomplishments. Again, it’s just that simple.
